Responsibilities:
The MDS Coordinator - RN ensures timely and accurate completion of the MDS treatment assessment tool and reviews care plans to guarantee compliance with our high standards of care.
The role involves managing the process and tracking of Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents for appropriate reimbursement.
Additionally, the MDS Coordinator conducts concurrent MDS reviews to achieve maximum allowable RUG categories by integrating information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services.
Requirements:
A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
LPNs with MDS experience may be considered, along with at least one year of long-term care nursing experience.
