What are the responsibilities and job description for the University Marketing & Events Coordinator position at Elala Distribution Corp?

Elala is revolutionizing campus transportation with sustainable, electric mobility solutions! We partner with top universities, student organizations, and Greek life to bring innovative transportation options to students nationwide.

As a Campus Partnerships & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in expanding our presence on college campuses by assisting in sponsorship outreach, event planning, and relationship-building with university organizations. You will rotate through different aspects of our campus engagement strategy, gaining hands-on experience in marketing, partnerships, and event coordination.

What You Will Do :

Rotate among various Campus Partnerships & Events functions, supporting outreach, event planning, and sponsorship initiatives.
Research and build lists of top university events, student organizations, and Greek life chapters for partnership opportunities.
Assist in crafting outreach emails, sponsorship proposals, and event partnership materials.
Track and manage event schedules, sponsorship requests, and student engagement metrics.
Support the team in coordinating and executing campus events, including product demos and giveaways.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions on marketing strategies, brand ambassador programs, and campus engagement tactics.
Assist with social media efforts related to sponsored events and campus activations.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with university organizations, student leaders, and event partners.

Hardworking, proactive, and eager to learn, with a go-getter attitude and willingness to take initiative in outreach and event coordination.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to build and maintain sponsorship lists, event schedules, and engagement tracking.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Knowledgeable about social media and digital marketing, particularly in promoting events and student engagement.

Comfortable handling partnership discussions and confidential brand strategy information.

Previous marketing, events, PR, or campus ambassador experience is a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Education :

Bachelor's degree

Be at least 18 years of age

Additional Information :

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule

The approximate dates of this temporary role are March 2025 through May 2025

Able to provide own housing for the duration of the assignment in the Alhambra, CA area

Able to provide reliable transportation to / from work in the Alhambra, CA area
