As a Senior Corporate Event Planning Specialist, you will spearhead the design and execution of major corporate events to enhance company brand visibility. You will utilize your extensive experience from coordinating events globally and apply your deep understanding of corporate needs to elevate our event offerings, especially focusing on international distributor trips, major sporting events, and CEO-specific engagements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field
- At least eight years of experience in event management, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in high-end, international event planning.
- Demonstrated experience in managing investor relations meetings and CEO-specific events for a B2B company.
- Proficiency in Cvent and other event management tools.
- Openness to domestic and international travel, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required (travel commitment up to 20%).
- Proven track record of conceptualizing, organizing, and conducting events ranging from small (10 attendees) to large-scale (1,000 attendees).
- Exceptional relationship management skills, with a record of building and maintaining partnerships both internally and with corporate clients/distributors.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills; capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to increase event attendance and drive revenue growth through strategic event planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute a broad range of corporate events, including international distributor trips, distributor/client outings to major sporting events, CEO town halls, leadership meetings, global leadership conferences, and investor relations meetings.
- Handle all aspects of event logistics, from venue selection and contract negotiations to overseeing registration, catering, entertainment, and transportation arrangements.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution, brand consistency, and delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
- Utilize Cvent event management software extensively to build and manage event registration sites, optimizing the use of annual licenses and fees.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of vendors and partners to support event success.
- Manage significant event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and accurately forecast financial needs, achieving cost savings while maintaining high event standards.
- Collect and analyze feedback to measure event success and implement continuous improvements.
