What are the responsibilities and job description for the Third Party Billing Specialist position at Elan Skilled Nursing?
The primary function of this position is to assist and support in the processing, reviewing and follow up of all 3rd party insurance claims for the facility in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines, standards, and, as directed by the Controller and Administrator so as to ensure the accurate functioning of all business operations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
1. Must have long term care billing experience
2. Practical computer operation skills.
3. Healthcare business office experience.
4. Ability to read, write and speak English.
5. Ability to follow oral and written directions.
6. High School Diploma/GED
