Your Role : Facilities Maintenance Mechanic
The successful candidate will join a team of highly trained, multi-skilled craftsman that perform tasks in a wide range of mechanical disciplines. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide troubleshooting, repair and periodic maintenance of steam systems, water systems, compressed air systems, electrical systems, HVAC related equipment and associated facilities support equipment.
2nd Shift : Wednesday - Sunday, 3pm - 11 : 30pm
Your Responsibilities :
- The ability to perform detailed documentation of repair and preventive maintenance activities into a document detailing the problem, cause and remedy.
- Demonstrated understanding of systems, equipment, and processes including boilers, air handling units, water generating / purification systems, compressed air systems, and steam generation systems.
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts or equipment.
- Follow OSHA standards and lockout tag out procedures.
- Furnish a complete set of hand tools.
- Perform basic shop math and practical shop calculations with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Provide basic measurements and measuring tools in either metric and / or US standard systems.
- Implement metal work, sawing, welding, and grinding.
- Knowledgeable of basic electricity and electronics.
- Independently perform methods of measuring current, voltage, resistance, simple OHMS law calculations, and reading both electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proceed independently without direct supervision.
- Use a computer to keep accurate and complete records, meeting cGMP documentation practices.
- Demonstrate an understanding of mechanical systems to allow effective and efficient troubleshooting.
- May be subject to and pass regular checks as required, such as DEA background checks.
- Perform jobs of the lower grades as required.
- Knowledge of basic AC / DC electricity and electronics, including 3-phase electrical systems.
