This position will be located in Baltimore for a FedEx Ground Contractor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• This position oversees and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of FedEx package delivery services. The manager will have a strong daily presence at the terminal to ensure all production, as well as build and maintain strong, positive working relationship with all FedEx employees

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• FedEx DRO experience: must have hands on experience managing DRO, creating work areas, assigning routes to these areas, assigning drivers and trucks to the routes and managing number of stops per route
• Create and assign routes using DRO every night for the next day execution
• Managing and assigning pickups
• Should be able to Optimize Routes , also maintain daily threshold of minimum number of stops / route.
• Must have experience in attending and managing daily meetings in the terminal with the Terminal Managers.
• Must have in- depth knowledge of the route codes used by FedEx, to guide drivers on a daily basis
• Meeting the daily service level required by FedEx
• should be available to do sweeps and help the team as and when needed
• should maintain complete Log of Maintenance of company vehicles , also look after maintenance scheduling , inspection stickers , cleanliness of vehicles ,
• Manage Driver Roster
• Hiring new drivers and training new drivers
• Preferably should have Qualification Certification for Certified Trainers

WORK SCHEDULE

• This is a full time position
• Days and hours of work require a vast amount of variability providing 24/7 coverage to meet business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $230.00 - $250.00 per day
