Position Overview
The Moore’s Elastika Assistant General Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall success and exceptional quality of our public facing restaurant. This position involves overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, managing staff, maintaining high standards of service and food quality, and creating an outstanding dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and health and safety compliance.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety codes and employment laws.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Step in for the General Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
