We are seeking a Marketing Program Specialist to join our growing and fast-paced marketing team.
Position Purpose:
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Marketing Program Specialist to execute our education marketing activities and initiatives nationally. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in developing and driving our education marketing strategy as well supporting the execution of activities which drive sales success in this industry. Must be comfortable in a collaborative/team environment but thrive autonomously as well. Attention to detail and self-starter a must.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive ELB's marketing strategy in the education sector
- Support the planning and development of education-related marketing and communication initiatives and program activities
- Work with the team to create education marketing materials that help drive sales success
- Liaise with the national Education Sales team to identify and execute on activities which support sales and marketing in their territories
- Support the posting of social media content on ELB's education channels
- Support the updating of ELB's education website
- Support other marketing activities and initiatives as required and as interested
Key Skills Required for the Job:
- Have a degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
- Have at least 3 years of education industry experience
- Have at least 3 years of marketing experience
- Be a self-starter: highly motivated and results-oriented
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and/or collaboratively on multiple projects with variable timelines
- Be detail-oriented, with excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Be able to travel within North America
- Have a high proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (ie. PowerPoint, Excel, Word) as well as Google (G Suite) apps
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Marketing or sales experience in interactive education technology
- Marketing or sales experience in classroom furniture
