What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer II Materials Science position at Elbit Systems of America?
Process engineering position focused on the manufacturing of the Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) photocathode structure. Responsibilities include :
- Optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment to reduce defects in the growth structures minimize cost and reduce equipment downtime.
- Working with Operations group to manage process improvement defect analysis and technician training.
- Working in cross functional team settings to minimize or eliminate safety quality delivery and productivity problems.
- Conducting failure analysis of components to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Increase image intensifier performance (Photoresponse spectral response etc. as part of crossfunctional team.
