About the Role
The Complex Systems Assembler is responsible for building, repairing, reworking and aligning complex assemblies, sub-assemblies and final products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Reassembly: Perform multiple steps to assemble and reassemble complex systems, including welding, soldering, and fitting parts together.
- Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Identify and correct problems with form, fit or function in assemblies, using specialized techniques and knowledge acquired through hands-on experience.
- Use of Specialized Tools: Operate multi-step fixturization equipment to achieve proper drilling or alignment requirements, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate logs and records of work performed and quality control measures taken.
Qualifications:
- Certification or Training: Satisfactory completion of soldering school and certification of calibration procedures may be required.
- Work Environment: Willingness to participate in a team environment and safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
