Environmental Health Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to the Sanitarian and Environmental Health Technician
• Assist with tracking kitchen surveys for facilities on the Fort Berthold Reservation
• Assists with public outreach and information efforts about the activities of the Department
• Assists with financial affairs of the department, including travel arrangements, purchasing and acquisition of equipment and supplies
• Participates in EMHC staff meetings, assigned committees, community events, and other meetings as instructed or deemed necessary

Qualifications:

• Must have High School Diploma
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of working experience
• Must have excellent communication skills and pay attention to detail
• Computer literate and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other database software
• Must be punctual, reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record from the North Dakota Department of Motor Vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
