Job Summary: Elbowoods Memorial Health Center is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support the maintenance and repair of healthcare facilities, staff housing, vehicle pool, and maintenance shops. This role involves performing a variety of skilled maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and grounds care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, painting, carpentry, and other facility needs.
- Assist in maintaining life safety systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the Facilities Manager in program planning and development.
- Represent EMHC professionally and maintain positive communication across all departments.
- Maintain records, participate in staff meetings, and assist with community events.
- Adhere to EMHC's Mission, Vision, and Values while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Travel between clinic locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 3-5 years of specialized experience in facilities maintenance (Required)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills (Required)
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and manage records
- Knowledge of American Plains Indian culture (Helpful)
- Valid North Dakota driver's license with a clean driving record (Required)
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug/Alcohol Screening
- Indian and Veterans Preference applies (Must submit documentation)

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
