Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation to service completion. This role requires strong customer service skills, an understanding of automotive repair processes, strong sales skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services required, including diesel engine repair, brake repair, oil changes, and other automotive services.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up, while maintaining CSI
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Assist in managing the service department's workflow to optimize efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the service process.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including mechanic duties and
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of various automotive services such as brake repair, oil changes, and general maintenance is advantageous.
- Experience as a service technician or in a similar role will be considered a plus.
- CDK experience is preferred
