Job Summary:
Eldercare of Bemidji is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Manager for their Cedar Cottage Assisted Living Community. The ideal candidate will possess an LALD license or be willing to work toward the Licensed Assisted Living Director. As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cedar Cottage Assisted Living Community, ensuring that all residents receive the highest quality of care and services.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Cedar Cottage Assisted Living Community
- Ensure that all residents receive the highest quality of care and services
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
- Manage the budget and financial operations of the community
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff
- Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to enhance the quality of life for residents
Requirements:
- LALD license or willingness to work toward the Licensed Assisted Living Director
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role in a healthcare or senior living setting desired
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living communities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
