What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction/General Laborer position at Elder Construction Inc?
Seeking two General Laborers to assist with all construction tasks associated with commercial playground construction. A qualified candidate has a positive attitude and is willing to learn and grow with the company. Daily, an employee will be required to:
- Clean/prepare construction site.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Use construction tools safely
- Building structures, mixing concrete.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.
- Move and spread mulch.
- Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Lift 75 lbs.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
