Summary

As part of the Elder Law of Omaha team, the Receptionist works closely with the attorneys and staff to ensure that our clients receive the best care and service that they can - from the moment they call us to schedule an appointment to the time their services conclude with our firm. The Receptionist will frequently interact with clients via telephone, e-mail, and in-person communication. This person needs to be able to build positive relationships and have strong people and communication skills, the ability to listen and comprehend clients' concerns or questions and enjoy interacting with people. A superior candidate for this position has the ability to be a proactive, initiative-taking problem solver. Located in Omaha, this position is essential in supporting our mission to provide exceptional legal services to all our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients as they arrive at the office, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for attorneys and staff.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining client records.
  • Handle client inquiries with empathy and provide necessary information about our services.
  • Assist with office organization and ensure that reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Support administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth office operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with legal standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer support role, preferably within a legal or medical environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with clients of all backgrounds.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and computer applications for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required for this role.
  • Familiarity with clerical tasks and office procedures is beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while handling sensitive client information.

Pay: $31,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
