What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing/Customer Service Specialist position at Elder Logistics Inc?
The Billing Specialist/CSR - will ensure that all services are accurately invoiced and billed out to customers in a timely manner. While providing a higher level of customer support by interacting with customer freight needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Monitors the daily roster to determine which customers need to be billed
Monitors the Paperwork Email and Sharepoint Billing folder to locate and retrieve driver paperwork as needed.
Saves driver paperwork to SharePoint folders while maintaining organization of such.
Ensure Invoices and all req’d attachments are completed and emaild to customer in a timely manner.
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat to schedule appointments and information on freight movements.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Serviceoriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Proficient with or able to quickly learn Quickbooks Online.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Billing/Customer service experience required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour DOE
