We are currently looking to fill the position of: Heavy Duty Truck Lube Technician

Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Truck Lube Technician will provide Oil changes and lubrication work while using our Maintenance truck for our Multiple Class Fleet of Trucks out of our Portland, OR terminal.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform oil changes and lubrication work on fleet.

Perform PM's

Perform inspection on engine for leaks.

Top off fluids in the transmission or braking system, including DEF as needed.

Perform tire pressure checks and rotations as needed.

Install new batteries, wiper blades and air filters as needed.

Diagnose issues and assist Maintenance team with truck and trailer repairs

Required Skills/Abilities:

Valid Driver's License

1 or more years’ experience as a truck lube technician.

1 year of experience with DOT Annual Inspections.

Must be able to provide sufficient tool inventory to perform job duties.

Experience interacting directly with Maintenance Team, Management and

Drivers with strong customer service and communication skills.

High attendance and punctuality required.

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements include standing, bending, and sitting for long periods of time in varied temperatures and weather conditions.

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
