What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Nurse position at Elder's Journey Home Care?
Seeking an LPN or RN to join our office team in Bloomington! Full-time Mon- Fri office position, benefits package including paid vacation, PTO 401K with company match and profit sharing - paid out quarterly.
Essential Duties:
Conduct skill Competency checks on Home Health Aide staff
Proctor Home Health Aide written exam
Administer and read TB tests
Administer and read drug tests
Provide remedial training to direct care staff
CPR instructor
Assist Nursing QA department
- reviewing nurses notes, physician orders, oasis assessments, and other compliance related documentation.
- Create care plans
- assist field staff with clinical questions,
- coordinate with MD offices and field staff
- assist with applying for home care services
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license
- CPR Certified Instructor a plus
- Proficient in EHR systems and HIPAA compliance
- Strong patient assessment and care skills
- Experience in home health, long-term care, or assisted living settings a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
