We are currently hiring an Ombudsman Program Supervisor. The Ombudsman Program Supervisor will oversee the operation of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and be responsible for the development and implementation of the goals and objectives of the program and supervision of the program’s staff. The Ombudsman Program Supervisor participates as a member of the Community Services Team.
Monday- Friday, 8-4, 34 hours/ week plus unpaid one hour lunch each day.

What do you need to be considered for this position?
- Ability to collaborate, take initiative, provide/ receive feedback.
- Ability to work independently and professionally. Ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills required.
- Valid MA driver’s license and car required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Nursing or related field with five years of equivalent experience working in a related professional environment.
- Three years of supervisory experience required.
- Experience with investigation, mediation, and problem resolution.
- Familiarity with volunteer management
- Knowledge of Long-term Care preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 20 pounds.
- Travel is required on a regular basis throughout planning and service area including the islands. Travel to the islands is done by ferry and / or by plane.
- Travel to off-Cape locations is required to attend regional and statewide meetings.
