Provider Contracts Manager
Seeking a full-time (37.5 hours/wk)/Exempt Provider Contracts Manager to work within the Purchased Services Department. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining Purchased Services contracts and relationships.
- Monitoring the programmatic component of sub-contracts.
- Facilitates the Request for Proposal (RFP) process while ensuring that the process is conducted in a fair and equitable manner.
- Facilitates rate negotiations for purchased services with provider agencies.
- Makes recommendations regarding contract awards and renewals to the Executive Director, Services Committee, and Board of Directors.
- Oversight of the ordering of purchased services through the supervision of the agency’s Purchased Services Coordinators.
- Ensuring and monitoring on-going quality and effectiveness of services provided through provider contracts via on-site audits, staff feedback, surveys, and data analysis while also addressing deficiencies.
- Serving as the liaison between agency staff and providers.
- Supervision of the Support Staff Supervisor.
Qualifications/Abilities: A bachelor’s degree is required with a degree in Business Management or a related field preferred. At least 3 years of experience in a business, finance, or contract management role required. A minimum of 1 year of supervisory, administrative, or managerial experience required. Experience building relationships and partnerships with local service providers preferred. Organizational skills and conflict management skills required. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to present to small and large groups required. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities, in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented, organized, solution driven, and strong ability to build relationships required. Ability to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and superiors. Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft products (Excel, SharePoint, Word) required. Ability to generate electronic reports and analyze report data to identify issues and monitor compliance. Ability to establish and analyze data metrics for contract and regulatory compliance. Ability to present analysis to Board members and management team. Use of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a current license to drive required. Ability to travel for meetings, trainings, and conferences. Must have moderate physical mobility; Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pound and have the ability to climb stairs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Non-negotiable Salary: $80,000-$81,000 annually
- Hiring Bonus: $1,000, awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 days, and half at 1 year of active employment.
