What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Elderly Housing Management?
EHM is currently seeking Maintenance Technicians for several properties in the New Haven and Hamden areas. These are full-time positions with on-call requirements.
Professional Requirements
- Ability to read and write English
- Experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Training or experience in some of the following areas: carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, painting, refurbishing and cleaning, heating, and air-conditioning.
- Good communications skills, effective interpersonal skills, and comfortable and respectful familiarity with the elderly
- Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills
- An independent worker that excels with minimal direction
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities
There will be on-call requirements during nights, weekends, and holidays if resident or building concerns arise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
