Elder Benefit Specialist/Family Caregiver Support Coordinator - Advocate on behalf of older persons, counsel on public benefits and coordinate services with families. Attend ongoing trainings, visit clients' homes and public speaking.
- Advocate for senior citizens to resolve issues and assist with a variety of topics including Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, Foodshare, Homestead Tax Credit, Housing, VA Benefits, Caregiver Support, and more.
- Organize support groups and counsel caregivers to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting a loved one.
- Computer knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience with public benefits and Medicare knowledge preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
