What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Assistant, All Saints Neighborhood - Every Other Weekend position at ElderSpan Management, LLC?
Are you creative? Do you like bringing a smile to others and enjoy being around older adults/the senior population? We are looking for an fun and energetic person to make a difference in the lives of our residents by providing stimulating programs and fun social activities such as crafts, games, art, and entertainment in either a group setting or individually at our beautiful assisted living residence as a Life Enrichment/Activity Assistant.
Pay:
Starts at $18.50 per hour and can increase with experience
Hours:
8am to 4pm, every other weekend only (Sat/Sun)
If more hours are desired, we have other opportunities available if there is interest in cross training to other departments (i.e. Caregiver/Resident Assistant, Dietary, Housekeeping).

Our Life Enrichment /Activity Assistant Serves Our Residents By:
Assisting the Activity Director by providing group activities and individual engagement according to each resident’s person-centered Plan of Care (POC), in a manner which encourages each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
Requirements of a Life Enrichment /Activity Assistant:
- One or more years work experience with seniors/older adults
- Previous experience working with others in a group and one-on-one setting
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to read, write speak and understand English
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Support up to 100 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior CBRF training or CNA certificate is preferred
