The Apartment Property Manager is responsible for leasing apartments and managing the daily operations of our senior apartment building. This rewarding position is 32 hours per week with full benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off and 401k.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities :
Engagement - Plans monthly calendar of events in the building and community, including birthdays, exercise classes, outings and other opportunities for social activities. Takes reservations and coordinates use of guest rooms and other common area spaces.
Leasing - Adheres to established policies related to fair housing. Establishes rapport with each prospective resident. Determines needs of each prospective resident. Presents property and appropriate apartment(s) in a manner consistent with the image of the property and relevant to the prospect. Follows up on undecided prospects. Assists in lease renewal procedure.
Administrative - Prepares lease package and necessary forms and addendums. Enters prospects, application and move in information into database. Assists in move-in and move-out process.
Managerial - Handles any emergencies. Maintains log of resident service requests. Assists in scheduling maintenance work. Inspects vacant apartments and schedules make-ready and repair work. Acts as backup to those responsible for housekeeping and dietary services. Ordering dietary and housekeeping supplies as appropriate.
