Nursing Supervisor Job Summary
Elderwood is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Nursing Supervisor. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising nursing care services, ensuring quality care delivery, and promoting a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care services on all units, focusing on resident-centered care and seamless care transitions.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services to develop and implement evidence-based practices and policies.
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active licensure and registration as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- At least two years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
