Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), also known as a Resident Care Leader, to join our compassionate clinical team. Whether you are an experienced LPN eager to care for lower acuity patients or a recent graduate looking to grow your skills, our Assisted Living Communities provide rewarding experiences for all nurses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and assist with medication management for assigned residents; monitor residents participating in self-medication programs.
- Oversee the personal care provided by Resident Assistants and assist them in direct care as needed.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions, daily needs, and progress to the Director of Nursing.
- Implement and follow the personalized care plan for each resident.
- Manage the administration of controlled substances, ensuring proper storage and handling.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding resident care in Case Notes and Medication Administration Records.
- Collaborate to resolve issues related to staffing, supplies, and resident care during your shift.
- Ensure that high standards of resident care are consistently maintained and that residents’ rights and preferences are respected.
- Handle lost / found articles and inform the Director of Nursing and / or Case Manager as necessary.
- Provide compassionate care and treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
