Position Title: Line Technician
Department: Production Automotive
Reporting to: Production Shift Supervisor
Pay Range: $22-$26.50
Position Mission:
To ensure that the machines operate in the highest efficiency conditions and ensure the required production volume in or to reach the production targets.
To ensure that the product is conforming according to the specifications
Keeping product qualities and semi-finished goods/Material scraps at the target rates.
Working in accordance with work safety and environments standards.
Take part in production project and improvement plans.
Position Main Responsibilities:
The position will:
Ensuring that the machines operate without interruption from alarms to operator loading to achieve the desired production volume on the way to the production targets.
Follow up of suspended products, faults, and scraps in accordance with the non-conformance procedure, implementation of urgent measures for possible problems and preparation of activities to prevent repetition.
Implementation of hourly measures of line inefficiency, implementation of urgent measures for possible problems and preparation of activities to prevent repetition.
Work in accordance with work safety and environmental standards.
Carrying out maintenance activities to ensure that the production area and production machines are clean, machines, equipment and tools used during production are well maintained and sound.
Completion of the shift TPM/MPI and efficiency paperwork and effective follow up of announcement panels to ensure communication between shifts.
Taking part in processes and machines continuous improvement activities
Working with procedures
Reporting quality, mechanical, etc. Issues to shift Supervisor.
Control of the accuracy of the process in all stages of production to ensure that product quality qualifies for specifications in model and batch changes.
Ensure that the product is 100% out of all tests and controls, otherwise sending the customer.
Guarantee that the product passes all safety test.
Keep inventory up to date
Assigned to different processes and projects deemed appropriate by shift supervisors.
Must be able to troubleshoot and find root cause of an issue on the line.
Education required:
Vocational certificate in Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Experiences required:
At least 1 year experience in Electronics, Mechanics, Machine Technology, PLC preferred.
Technical Skills Required:
Servo controlled axes
Sensors
Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems
Measurement techniques and the use of measuring instruments-Mechanical and electronic (Callipers, micrometres, oscilloscopes, ect.)
Basic electronics measuring instruments (Chronometer, Heat Regulator, Pressure Control ect.)
Tool and Machine bench use
Technical Drawing
TPM-PM
SO 9000
ISO TS 2
Quality system and method experience (MPI, Non-conformity, Error Schemes, Regulatory Activities and Practices etc.)
Process information Environment & Safety
2nd Shift. Monday-Friday, Some Weekends 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
