Job Description
The Shift (Junior) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line and auxiliary equipment, maintaining their proper functioning to achieve production efficiency and quality targets.
This role involves providing an efficient and effective operation for the production line and auxiliary equipment. Ensuring that production line and auxiliary equipment are working properly, replacing broken or faulty equipment whenever necessary, and ordering spare parts as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic drawings, designs, and product specifications. Strong analytical thinking skills are required for problem-solving at machine breakdown troubleshooting and root cause investigation, proposing modifications/improvements to avoid future failure modes.
Candidate responsibilities include correctly filling out machine breakdown service orders for each intervention, supporting the implementation of improvement projects in the production process, and communicating with the production and quality teams as needed.
