Eldredge is seeking a dedicated Field Services Project Manager to oversee environmental contracting projects and ensure their successful completion. Duties:
- Ensure the safety of the work completed by adhering to the environmental, health & safety policies and procedures and identify any potentially unsafe conditions or procedures to the Field Service Manager
- Work with Field Service Manager and Sales Team to manage Environmental Field Service Projects and Bids from start to finish
- Provide Mentorship and in the field training for all Field Service positions to allow for internal growth of employees throughout the Field Service Department
- Development of proposals or estimates as needed for the Field Service department
- Developing project plans including budgets, schedules, cost analysis, and safety requirements
- Create and complete all required paperwork for projects (Bill of Ladings, Manifests, Specific City/County/State Permits, etc.)
- Create Schedule Requests for project work and distribute and review schedule requests with field supervisors, technicians, and drivers prior to start of projects
- Ordering and coordination of rental equipment, safety equipment and monitors, and project materials
- Onsite Communication with Customer contact throughout duration of job
- Onsite Communication with subcontracted Vendors to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction
- Assist with closing projects once completed including equipment returns, gathering documentation for invoicing, and other tasks assigned by the Field Service Manager
- Assist in communication between various departments to complete jobs in a timely manner. Departments include but not limited to: Plant, Transportation, Operations, Sales, & Safety
- Manage Field Service Lab Pack Chemists and Technicians to assist in the completion of Lab-Packs
- Manage specific Sales Accounts that are associated with Field Service Division. These accounts will be distributed to Project Manager from Field Service Manager and Sales Manager
- Participate in monthly health and safety meetings, weekly project management meetings, pre-bid meetings, and project kickoff meetings
- Maintain or acquire individual certifications as directed by management
- Work with Eldredge's Operations Team to schedule customer pickups
- Work with Eldredge's Technical Service Team to prepare Waste Profiles for sourcing the best recycling or disposal option for our customer's waste
- Assist in ensuring compliance of all Responsible Care® Management Systems codes and initiatives
- Overnight stay and travel will be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, visiting project sites, managing projects, etc.
- Assist field crews as directed by the Field Service Manager
- Commitment to general teamwork in support of all aspects of daily activities to ensure the profitability and sustained growth of the corporation
Requirements:
- Successfully complete a drug screen and pre-employment physical
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Requires walking on uneven ground while visiting job sites
- May occasionally require lifting up to 70 lbs., pulling and/or pushing and carrying
- Climbing, walking, standing, sitting, lifting, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, and crouching
- Color perception (Red, Green, Amber)
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
- Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Bachelor degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience preferred. While a specific degree is not mandated, candidates with backgrounds in parallel industries such as construction, waste disposal, environmental services, consulting, or transportation are encouraged to apply.
- High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) is the minimum requirement.
