Job Summary : Elecnor Hawkeye is seeking a highly motivated Contract and Compliance Analyst who is an aspiring attorney or a newly licensed attorney who has just passed the bar. This critical role within our Legal Department will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal and compliance operations across Elecnor Inc. and its subsidiary companies. The ideal candidate will engage in a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including drafting, revising, and negotiating contracts, assessing risks and obligations, and responding to contract-related inquiries. Collaborating closely with our legal team, you will also assist in developing and refining contract templates and compliance content, while overseeing essential administrative functions such as document preparation and communication management. Success in this role necessitates a strong commitment to organization, confidentiality, proactive problem solving, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with legal professionals and various departments to ensure smooth and impactful operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts and compliance agreements, ensuring they meet legal standards and organizational policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support contract negotiations and compliance issues, providing insights and recommendations to the legal team.
  • Assist in managing contract lifecycle processes, including facilitation of approvals, renewals, and compliance tracking.
  • Handle communications with internal and external stakeholders, drafting correspondence and managing follow-ups on contract-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain a structured database for tracking contracts and compliance documentation with high precision.
  • Assist with billing, invoice processing, and expense reports for the legal department, ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements.
  • Provide analytical support in assessing risk and compliance policies, facilitating the development of best practices within the organization.
  • Offer general administrative support as needed, which may include organizing travel arrangements and managing office logistics.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a strong focus on contract and compliance law.
  • Recent pass or active status of the bar exam or pending admission to the bar preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a legal, contract management, or compliance role, either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of legal software and document management systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
