Job Summary: The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to both internal quality standards and contractual obligations within Elecnor Hawkeye. Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the Elecnor Hawkeye Management System is implemented and monitored.
- Ensure that audits are conducted per the audit plan for the job site to verify compliance with requirements.
- Report the performance of the EHMS to the management team for review and as a basis for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that awareness of customer requirements is promoted throughout the company.
- Ensure that non-conformances are documented and coordinate causal analysis to identify the root cause for corrective action.
- Periodically analyze non-conformance reports to identify the development of adverse trends.
- Monitor the regional calibration and testing program.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external parties on matters relating to Quality Management.
- Review and ensure that project as-built/training documentation is issued and maintained per client, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Assist in maintaining records of company employee Operator Qualifications and training.
- Assist in coordinating training and testing events.
- Conduct, monitor, and document the training of employees to verify competency prior to qualification testing and as additionally required.
- Ensure employees are trained to the latest client, statutory, and regulatory specifications.
- Monitor the installation and storage of material for compliance with specifications.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of natural gas distribution experience in construction management or quality control.
- Have or able to attain full operator gas mechanic qualifications under at least one of our customer’s systems.
- Experience with the National Gas Association Operator Qualification Program.
- Experience with the ITS On-Board Operator Qualification system.
- Completed or able to complete the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Course.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
