Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are residing in a group home, nursing home, or receiving hospice care. Your responsibilities will include personal care, meal preparation, and patient monitoring, ensuring that each client receives the individualized attention they deserve.
Assisted Living Facility - Cordova Cordova- 10 person residence.
2 Shifts available:
8a-8p Saturday & Sunday . Must be able to work every weekend. Schedule is not flexible unless house manager agrees. All basic ADL's. You will be working with another Caregiver during your shift at this Facility.
11p-7a - 4 nights a week, Tue/Thurs/Sat/Sun. Must be able to work every weekend. Schedule is not flexible unless house manager agrees. All basic ADL's. You will be working with another Caregiver during your shift at this Facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, group home settings, or long-term care facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospice care protocols is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations.
- Ability to perform patient monitoring tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work well with other staff
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is an advantage but not required at the time of application.
