Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Helper to join our team. The Delivery Helper will assist in the transportation and delivery of goods to customers. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle
- Safely transport items to customers' locations
- Communicate effectively with the delivery driver and customers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor
- Ensure all delivered items are accounted for and in good condition
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Experience working with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Familiarity with box trucks, forklifts, or tractor-trailers is advantageous
- Previous experience in a courier or delivery driver role is beneficial
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing delivery schedules
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and moving techniques
