Position Overview:
Electra is seeking a Contract Management Associate to join our innovative team in Manassas, Virginia. This role supports our commercial and government program teams, as well as our product development teams, by drafting and managing contracts throughout the lifecycle of the program. Travel: Occasional travel (Onsite Presence: Expected onsite presence at our Manassas, VA headquarters 4-5 days per week
Salary: Electra's salary range for this position is: $71,500.00 - 181,250.00
Our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum range for the Company level overall across all locations & projects and does not necessarily reflect the budgeted amount for this position. Individual pay is based on additional factors, including project budgets, job-related skills, experience, relevant education and/or training, role, level, location, and project.

Working Conditions

Due to the nature of our business and projects, some fieldwork may be required, working in both indoor and outdoor conditions. You may need to lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Support Setup and Monitor performance on customer contracts:
- Support the Contracts Manager and business development teams with set up and execution of government and commercial customer contracts
- Monitor contract performance and assist the responsible program managers with preparation and submission of deliverables as required by the contract
- Work closely with the customer contract manager to implement any contract modifications needed during the performance of the work
- Work closely with the Contract Manager and Program Managers to maintain log of contract deliverable due dates, expected submission dates, invoice dates and deliverable closeout dates.
- Maintain a well-organized, easily searchable archive of current and past contracts and any modifications thereto.
- Partner with supply chain and program teams to set up standard subcontractor, consulting and purchasing agreements with vendors
- Monitor subcontractor adherence to contract requirements and work with subcontractor to implement contract changes as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of communication with subcontractors
- Maintain a well-organized, comprehensive repository of legal templates, including R&D contracts, supplier terms and conditions, NDAs, and aircraft purchase agreements
- Execute, log and archive standard NDAs
- Develop tools and processes to improve efficiency of contract administration
- Provide ad-hoc legal support to ensure compliance across all contractual activities
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related field
- 3 years of experience in contract management or a related discipline
- Expertise in U.S. government contracts and familiarity with the FAR, with a particular focus on Small Business Programs
- Familiarity with U.S. export control laws
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Sharepoint and other office tools.
- Desire for continuous process improvement
- Ability to lead contract execution independently while upholding the highest ethical standards
- US Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Experience in program management, particularly in technology-driven industries
- Advanced degree or experience in the aerospace industry
