Electra Link is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structured Cabling Superintendent to join our Dallas team! In this role, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, and implementation to ensure the successful completion of structured cabling projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and fully understand all project requirements, specifications, and scope of work to ensure complete and accurate project installation as per documentation.
- Implement and maintain all quality control and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and coordinate project materials, labor, tools, and resources to ensure the project team has everything necessary on-site for efficient completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure clear expectations and updates are provided.
- Responsible for all project-related documentation, including closeout procedures, test results, as-built drawings, and warranty submissions.
- Manage large-scale, multi-story, or campus projects with a team of 6 or more members.
- Attend all project meetings to stay aligned on coordination, scheduling, objectives, and milestones.
- Oversee all aspects of the project, including personnel management, material coordination, and administrative duties.
- Maintain excellent communication at all levels, including with the customer, Safety Manager, Project Manager, and other relevant project personnel.
- Ensure all closeout documentation is completed, including test results, as-built drawings, and warranty submissions.
Qualifications:
- 7- 10 years of previous experience in structured cabling, construction management, or a related field.
- BICSI certification preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills across various levels, from internal team members to clients.
