A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
· Lead and manage the plant’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
·Provide timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annually
·Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation including cash accounts
·Prepare month end financial reporting and journal entries
· Review and sign off on accounts receivable reporting
·Monitor and control inventory valuation, including cycle counts and reconciliation
·Provide administrative assistance to the Chief Financial Officer and company President
·Maintain compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and external regulatory requirements
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing business
· Effective communication skills
·Ability to understand and use multiple ERP software platforms
·Ability to manage multiple projects to meet required deadlines.
