We are seeking a dynamic Rental Assistant/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is pivotal as the face of our rental operations, ensuring a seamless experience for customers during pick-up and drop-off. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the rental process and software, and possess strong customer service skills to effectively communicate our standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Execute various manual tasks as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during cart pick-up and return.
- Answer phones and emails to assist with inquiries and reservations.
- Review and approve rental addresses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Receive, wash, charge, and stage carts for customer pick-up.
- Assess and address any cart damage, ensuring all equipment is in top condition.
- Collect payments and ensure accountability of all carts, keys, and equipment.
- Assist with maintenance and inventory management to support rental operations.
- Communicate effectively with management, HOAs, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform additional cleaning duties and tasks as assigned by the Rental Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently after initial guidance.
- Strong follow-through skills and commitment to completing tasks.
- Proficient in computer use and capable of learning new software systems.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds, and comfortable with bending and stooping.
- Ability to operate gas and battery-powered equipment.
Work Conditions
- Casual work environment with a focus on neat attire; uniforms may be required.
- Work primarily outdoors, under various weather conditions.
- Job is primarily manual labor.
- Rotating schedule from Sunday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, with potential for a four-day work week.
