About the Role


We're seeking a Product Marketing Manager to be the driving force behind getting our products to market - and keeping them there. As the first dedicated PMM hire, you'll be the voice of the customer, mastermind of messaging, enabler of sales, and accelerator of adoption. You'll sit at the intersection of product, sales, and customer success, deeply understanding our technical infrastructure to craft compelling narratives across diverse audiences - from engineers and CTOs to operations managers and business executives.

Success in this role requires you to be an accomplished plate-spinner, collaborating across engineering, product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our technical capabilities are effectively communicated to the market. You'll own our go-to-market strategies, lead product launches, and create sales enablement tools that drive revenue growth. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and is crucial for scaling our market presence in the EV infrastructure space.



Key Responsibilities


Strategic Product Marketing

  • Own product positioning and messaging strategy, ensuring our value proposition resonates across all segments
  • Develop clear, compelling messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market
  • Create and maintain comprehensive competitive intelligence database and battlecards
  • Drive customer research and market analysis to inform product strategy
  • Partner with product teams to influence roadmap based on market insights
  • Build and maintain detailed buyer personas and customer journey maps


Launch & Go-to-Market Excellence

  • Drive end-to-end product launch strategy and execution
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans that align product capabilities with market needs
  • Create launch materials tailored for different stakeholder groups
  • Own success metrics and reporting for all launch activities
  • Ensure consistent product story across all channels and touchpoints


Sales & Revenue Enablement

  • Create and maintain sales enablement tools (battlecards, ROI calculators, pitch decks)
  • Develop compelling customer case studies and success stories
  • Lead sales training sessions on new products and features
  • Support high-priority deals with custom materials and technical validation
  • Build and maintain sales playbooks and objection handling guides


Content & Customer Marketing

  • Own technical content strategy and creation (whitepapers, solution guides, blog posts)
  • Develop detailed product specifications and documentation
  • Drive customer advocacy program including testimonials and references
  • Create targeted content for different stages of the buyer journey
  • Maintain product marketing sections of the website


Required Qualifications


  • 4-5 years of product marketing experience in B2B technology companies
  • Strong technical background with ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts
  • Demonstrated experience writing technical specifications and product documentation
  • Track record of developing and maintaining product positioning frameworks and competitive battlecards
  • Proven ability to translate technical features into compelling benefits for different buyer personas
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with examples of published technical content
  • Experience creating and maintaining sales enablement materials
  • Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
  • Data-driven approach to measuring and improving marketing effectiveness
  • Portfolio of technical writing samples required (spec sheets, technical blog posts, white papers)


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in hardware/software technology companies
  • Background in energy tech, cleantech, or sustainability sectors
  • Experience with account-based marketing programs and campaigns
  • Experience at Series A/B startups
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Understanding of hardware/software product development cycles
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Marketing, or related field

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
