Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing programs for all our CNC equipment, including reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting design specifications, adjusting machine cutting paths, and proving out a program and setup for all operators.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years machining experience in a CNC environment
- Fluent with G-Code
- Experience with Esprit or a similar CAM software
- Experience with Mazatrol
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints
- High level of understanding on cutting tools and the attributes that make them perform
- Ability to choose the correct cutting tools for the application
- Good math skills (Geometry and Trigonometry)
- Works well with others
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good use of imagination to utilize advance machining concepts
