Electrical Materials is adding to our Sales Team!
The Electric Materials Company is currently seeking a motivated Sales Administrator with a promotional track plan to Inside Sales Representative. This position requires working with many departments within the Company to ensure accuracy with all aspects of our customers’ quotes and orders for data entry. This position requires you to build and maintain customer relationships to ensure prompt service while supporting the Inside Sales Team. The environment is fast paced and requires exceptional attention to detail.
Job Summary:
- The Sales Administrator will act as liaison between the company sales team and clients as the main source of data entry while providing information related to EM produced copper products, manufactured for the generation and distribution of electricity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Primary source of data entry or quotes, orders, and customer support.
- Prompt responsiveness to customer needs and questions.
- Assist with managing existing accounts when Inside Sales Representatives are traveling.
- Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, operations, and other related information.
- Future plans of the position include customer account management, and some required travel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Passion for selling products that benefit the customer and show Company abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of equipment, product, industries
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to prepare reports and logs.
- Ability to work with ERP and CRM systems.
Education and Experience:
- Willingness to participate in technical training to master the complexities of our product line.
- Prior experience in industrial or electrical sales is preferred.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Team oriented mindsight is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
