Job Description:
- Machine Shop equipment repair & maintenance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose issues with machinery.
- Assist with housekeeping.
- Previous industrial machine tool maintenance experience required.
- Extensive experience repairing and overhauling machine shop machine tools, i.e. Engine Lathes, Manual Mills, Vertical Turret Lathes, Horizontal Boring Mills, Surface Grinders (experience with CNC machines & PLC’s a plus).
- Previous experience with maintenance of machine shop equipment required.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical concepts.
- Basic electrical knowledge. Should be capable of diagnosing electrical issues in equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electric motors and controls.
- Experience with mechanical disassembly and reassembly of machines and gearboxes.
- Physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing/working at heights, and working in hot/cold conditions.
- Must be willing to work overtime/flexible hours as needed.
