What are the responsibilities and job description for the INSIDE MANUAL MACHINIST position at Electric Motor & Contracting?

We are currently seeking Manual Machinists.
Job Description:
- Manufacture and make repairs per instructions and/or drawings
- Operate all machine shop equipment
- Operate overhead cranes and perform rigging
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections
- Properly fill out all paperwork
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating milling machines, lathes, boring mills, and grinders
- Must have ability to work with extremely close tolerances (example: .0005” to .001”) and meet allotted timeframes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be physically able to safely operate equipment, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and capable of standing/stooping/kneeling for long periods of time.
- We are a service industry on call to our customers 24/7/265. To meet our customer's needs, employees must be able to work overtime as needed, including extended hours outside of assigned shift. This also includes weekends/holidays.
