We are seeking a QA Nuclear Coordinator to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Review customer purchase orders and all relevant specifications, drawings, quotes, etc. to identify/resolve any exceptions, clarifications, or differences from EMC standard processes and procedures.
- Review production work documents for compliance with requirements of customer purchase orders or contracts.
- Review purchase documents for content and accuracy and identify appropriate QA requirements, such as inspections for the material, part, or service to be procured.
- Control usage of Customer Furnished and Safety-Related materials, including process for tracking materials used on jobs and records of samples sent for material analysis.
- Review proposed dedication documentation for content and accuracy. Review laboratory reports and completed documents and generate a material Certificate of Conformance.
- Review completed work packages for completeness and compliance with customer requirements. Resolve any questions or open issues with the relevant Production Manager.
- Perform final review of the finished job for compliance with EMC and customer requirements and issue Certificate of Compliance to release the job for shipment.
- Investigate nuclear and safety-related rework and customer feedback reports, including identification of apparent causes and proposed corrective / preventive actions.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working with / implementing a quality program
- The ability to read and comprehend multiple documents, then document the results of reviews accurately and succinctly
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Auditor experience a plus
