We are currently seeking a Storeroom Clerk.
Job Description:
- Responsible for receiving, inspection, marking/labeling, and placement of incoming material.
- Perform proper warehousing, including but not limited to marking/labeling, strapping material/parts to pallets, storage, and shelf-life management of inventory items.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Issue materials to staff and restock unused materials.
- Perform physical inventory randomly, monthly, and semi-annually. Assist in research of discrepancies.
- Perform shipping duties.
- Assist with managing company tool control.
- Assist Lead Storeroom Clerk in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy machinery within our established safety standards.
- Able to field inquiries from suppliers and staff.
- Able to lift and carry 50 – 75 pounds.
- Able to work well with others, share tasks, and cooperate effectively.
- Prior experience in inventory setting is preferred.
- Ability to improve efficiency a plus.
NOTE: This position requires drug and background screening.
