Part Time Delivery Driver (Non CDL)

Position Summary : Our Drivers deliver a wide range of products specific to our industry including pallets, boxes, coils of wire, bundles of pipe, and other electrical components, parts, and goods. Trucks are pre-loaded and depart from our Woburn, MA Central Distribution Center and orders are delivered to customer job sites across New England. Delivery stops are routed to maximize efficiency and ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Responsibilities :

Part Time Driver : Standard hours are Monday through Friday 9 : 30am - 2 : 00pm. Additional hours and overtime as required. Delivery routes are territory based and average 3-7 deliveries a day for this position.

General Driver Responsibilities :

• Safely and accurately deliver customer orders while providing excellent customer service.
• Communicate with the Fleet and Transportation Manager on the status of the route.
• Delivers orders to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of delivery photos.
• Maintains basic records of vehicle, including pre and post trip electronic inspections.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to Manager.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed or prior to departure.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
