What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Maintenance Technician position at Electrical Automation Services?
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent
Must be familiar with solid-state control systems
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with PLCs and HMI programming
Must be knowledgeable of test equipment used for troubleshooting systems
Must have own tools
Must be able to read electrical schematics, and PLC programs, and act on them
Must have a thorough knowledge of AC/DC equipment, motors, generators, control panels, switches, lighting circuit breakers, relay systems, variable speed drives, and programmable controllers
Must have a thorough knowledge of PLC networking with Automax (Reliance) system, and Allen Bradley Processors using RSLogix 500 and 5000 software with linkages between systems
Must have the ability to troubleshoot, modify, and or re-write ladder logic programs within processors using RSLogix software
Must have the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, or replace portions of, or entirety of, specialized electromechanical systems in hydro, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment
Must be familiar with all applicable codes and proper installation methods
