Job Overview :

Responsible for the efficient, cost-effective, and ethical development and management of company projects, in alignment with the organization’s growth objectives.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Experience :

3-5 years (or more) of progressively responsible experience / training in the commercial electrical construction industry is preferred.

Skills :

Excellent writing, presentation, and computer skills.

Proficient in reading drawings and specifications.

Strong verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong attention to detail, proficiency in take-offs, and rapid execution.

Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Ability to adapt to changing environments and organizational needs.

Knowledge :

A strong understanding of the electrical construction industry.

Strong working knowledge of business operations and quality standards.

Dedication to learning, expanding knowledge, and continuous improvement.

Ability to interact effectively across all levels and with diverse cultures.

Ability to be an effective team member and lead change.

Other Abilities :

Ability to access all points of a construction site, regardless of climate or environment.

Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Ability to facilitate progressive change within the team or organization.

Essential Functions :

Perform project start-up duties.

Provide administrative support at project sites.

Interface with clients to ensure smooth and mutually satisfactory project progression and completion.

Price change orders and negotiate buy-outs.

Provide cost estimates for project change orders and quantity take-offs.

Prepare and control project documents as needed.

Provide submittals for project approval.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Vision :

Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel Requirements :

Travel to job sites as needed, based on business requirements.
