Reports ToThe Quality Control Inspector will report to the Quality Control Supervisor. Job SummaryThe Quality Control Inspector will inspect panels and enclosures throughout the production process as they go through the different departments of Electrical Power Products, Inc. These departments include steel, paint, mounting, wiring, enclosures, and shipping. Responsibilities and DutiesImplement quality assurance policies and procedures. Perform routine inspections and quality tests. Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards and the customer's bill of materials. Document deficiencies and errors of products and confirm corrections of these errors. Operate a manual hydraulic pallet jack.RequirementsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.College degree preferred. Ability to read blueprints and exploded-view drawings.Exercise common sense when making decisions.Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Physical RequirementsContinuous speaking, hearing, and visual (including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus) effortFrequent standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and handlingCommonly lifting / moving of up to 40 lbs. individuallyOccasionally lifting / moving 50-100 lbs. with assistanceExposure to loud noises, drilling, cutting, banging, and typical manufacturing production physical hazards
