Position Description
ElectriCom, a Utility Construction company, was founded in 1960 in Paoli, Indiana. ElectriCom has experienced continuous growth since its inception. We are looking for a Helpdesk Specialist in the Information Technology Department. This position’s work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and requires occasional travel to field offices. While position may be hybrid it does require presence in the Paoli Indiana office to help manage equipment inventory, therefore ideal candidate must reside in reasonable distance of the Paoli Indiana office. The position is responsible for after-hours support on a rotating schedule with other colleagues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide end-user first level phone support of hardware and software; Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Cell phone connectivity, ERP system connectivity, VPN, Active Directory, VOIP phones, and printing support.
- Manage incidents in a ticket tracking system.
- Manage hardware and software inventory in an asset management system.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure the security and efficiency of computer systems.
- Participate and contribute to project teams as needed.
- Move, setup, or install hardware and software as needed for end users.
- Provide proactive follow-ups, effective problem resolution and end-to-end ownership of the reported incidents.
- Exhibit quick response customer support and work with clients over the phone to troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, and engage appropriate technical resources to resolve client issues.
- Ability to develop good rapport with technology staff to foster positive team development to ensure accurate and timely updates and resolution to customer issues.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with technical solutions such as Office 365, Network Connectivity, VPN, Printers, VoIP, cell phones such as iPhone, iPad, Surface Pro.
- Associate degree in computer science, informatics, or related discipline preferred. Specialized education/training normally acquired up to 18 months with a concentration in a technical discipline may be substituted for a degree when combined with relevant work experience.
- Must be able to be on-call 1-2 times a month. Weekends included.
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must have dependable transportation.
